The sort of place that no other country can match. This is a stunning 13th century inn with low beamed ceilings and a rabbits' warren of drinking areas. There is a modern conservatory for diners, and a large children's garden. John King has been landlord here since the mid 1970's. The back part of the pub was knocked together in 2006.
