The bar is a tiny room off the corridor, with faded nicotine walls, and a roomful of lively conversation. Variable opening times (ring first). Superb beer and cider straight from the barrel, and a huge garden for summer barbecues. Unusual, certainly, but if you ask me, it's a national treasure.
