Large hamlet pub with mock Tudor exterior. Inside there is a flagstoned drinking area with four separate dining areas around it. Particularly pretty are the wood-panelled room up the steps, and the pretty cabin room beside it. The wooden tables at the front in summer offer excellent valley views. The Fifty Foot well covered by glass in the bar is an interesting attraction reserve the table over the top if you dare. There are three ever changing real ales on offer.
