Dating back to its days as a hunting lodge on the edge of Windsor Great Park in 1364, this is now a town pub with two bars, but retains much of its olde worlde charm. The ceilings are extremely low, and endearingly misshapen, oak beams, white washed walls and uneven flooring. The bar to the right contains the dart board and wide screen telly. As at May 2001, they are in the process of opening a restaurant knocked through from next door.
