Traditional corner pub with mixed clientele and a range of carefully-cellared cask ales including weekly-changing guests from independent brewers. Malt whiskies and many wines by the glass. Three rooms including quiet, comfy sofa lounge and games room. Original Victorian etched glass and wooden panelling in the main bar. The first floor function room was refurbished inn 2006.
Beer festival with 30 real ales Friday 3rd August to Monday 6th August 2007.
