Named after a paddlesteamer that once ploughed its way up and down the Avon, this is a stoically unpretentious and traditional locals' pub near Redcliffe Bridge. The public bar is quiet and simple, with attractive fixtures behind the bar, and a dart board off to the right. There is a lounge bar to the rear, but it is seldom used these days.
