Great old stone pub, high on the moor, miles from anywhere, spectacular scenery. Very popular for food, especially Sunday lunch. They don't do chips. Massive range of malt whiskies. Although it is called the Pack Horse, it is known by locals as The Ridge. Best pub for miles around (not a subjective statement as it is indeed the ONLY pub for miles around!)
