This magnificent building, an old Victorian pumping station, is situated on the river in Hotwells (where the docks meets the Avon). It has recently (Summer 2007) been refurbished and is under new management. The focus now is certainly towards food. There is bar food served at lunchtimes and evenings downstairs, then an a la carte restaurant upstairs open Tuesday to Saturday evenings. The waterside patio has also been renovated.
