Bristol CAMRA pub of the year 2006. Formerly the Royal George, this large roadside inn on the Northern outskirts of Bristol was refurbished and given a paint job in the Summer of 2003. Three drinking areas. To the left is a small carpeted lounge area; to the centre a plainer public bar; and off to the right the old skittle alley with a row of pool tables at the end of it. There is are also several large screen projectors for sports events. Up to seven guest cask ales on at any one time.
