Great strides have been made in transforming the Chelsea into a friendly but popular locals' pub. The pub makes a point out of not having pool tables, darts, TV, juke box or gaming machines. There's a regularly changing exhibition of work by local artists. Tuesday nights are Trad Jazz night with Henry's Hot Six, while Thursday night is the Chelsea Music Club 'open mic' night. Live music on some Saturdays/Sundays, and guest DJs regularly. Two guest beers available in summer.
