A 19th century, Grade II* listed street corner pub next to the old Clifton Lido. Recently refurbished and reopened as the third pub in the Dawkins Taverns group, emerging as a free house with strong emphasis on local breweries' real ales from the six handpumps. Light and airy in summer yet intimate and cosy with a real fire in winter and a wide selection of wines by the glass, malt whiskies and other quality spirits.
Cider Festival August Bank Holiday weekend, Saturday 25th-Monday 27th August 2007.
