Dating from the 1700s, this roadside pub has a real stove in the main bar, with settles and benches and other wooden furniture. The dining room can get very busy so it's worth booking. The food is prepared using local and, where possible, organic ingredients. Children are welcome, and there is a large garden which is also very popular in summer time.
