Formerly the Royal Oak, and apparently Cornwall's only village green pub. Two bars at the front are decorated with numerous blackboards detailing the food and beer on offer and there is a small family room and a pool room to the rear. Offering an excellent choice of real ales and a real cider, the pub was awarded Camra's National Pub of the Year 2001. There is a Green Iguana called Dino in a Vivarium in the Family Room.
