A friendly roadside inn, popular with both locals and visitors. Two rooms, one with a huge open fire. Decorated with agricultural and other bric-a-brac, and RAF memorabila (the pub was a favoured local for RAF crews from a nearby airfield during World War II). Though there is no separate restaurant food is served every lunchtime (noon-2pm) and Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings (6:30-8:30pm). There are four rotating guest beers, usually from local brewers such as Copper Dragon, Old Mill and the York Brewery.
