The Rose&Crown is of significant historic interest and is several hundred years old. The pub was often frequented by royalty in the 17th and 18th Century, so much so that the back bar of the pub, where the resturant is now situated, was called 'The Royal Box'. Recently (2006) refurbished. Private functions catered for. The pub also boasts a comfotable lounge bar and an open secluded rear garden.
