The Sheep Heid is the oldest pub in the country dating back to 1360. It is situated in the rural setting of Duddingston village, found behind Arthur's Seat, and hosts beer festivals throughout the year, barbecues in summer, and has a very famous skittle alley at the back of the pub. Dog and children friendly, it is very busy for food at the weekends and the perfect place to relax on a summer's evening with cold beer or chilled glass of wine.
