A family run public in the heart of Hadrian's Wall Country. It is set in the village of Gilsland on the Cumbria/Northumberland Border. Three Star rating (Tourist Board). Two recently converted bedrooms, one twin with en-suite and one family room with en-suite. Lunch and evening meals available in the bar, which was refurbished in 2006. A non-smoking establishment in advance of the July 2007 change in the law.
