Non-smoking 17th century peaceful country village pub. Lovingly restored from the shabby and run down Thanet Arms (South East's most notorious and violent pub). Now filled with antique furniture and original artwork, it's a useful venue in the area for great beer and good fresh food from local farmers .Lots of fish and sea food. Warm friendly welcome and caring service. Log fire in winter. Gluten-free and vegetarians are made especially welcome as are children.
