A really old fashioned pub, with a real friendly atmosphere. It seems though time has stood still. Three comfy rooms are served by one bar. Choice of over Forty Whiskies. Lots of pictures of old Durham and of course Queen Victoria. Look out for the unusual public phone and the rare Baden Powell table. Five changing guest ales. If you only visit one pub in Durham make it this one.
