Dating back to 1615, the Bear's Head is surrounded by fields, as well as its own garden and patio, it offers a warm, cosy ambience with beamed ceilings and open log fires. Great food, real ales, the kind of wine we'd give to friends at home and most of all a genuinely warm welcome. Classic Beef & Ale Pie, Sausages with Cheddar Mash, Fish & Chips and hearty Sunday roasts are just some of the traditional favourites on our menu. Our aim is to do the simple things well - and make sure you leave determined to come back again.
