A traditional stone-built highland village inn now housing a recreation of a Tsarist Russian Tavern complete with authentic Russian Cuisine, vodkas, and visiting Russian musicians. There are excellent views across the yacht bay to the Argyll mountains. Popular with walkers, yachtsmen, cyclists, birdwatchers and Real Ale folk. It was CAMRA SW Scotland Pub of the Year 2003, Les Routiers Real Ale Pub of the Year for Scotland 2003, and overall National UK Pub of the Year 2003. To get there, you need to take the Isle of Bute Ferry, which can be reached via Wemyss Bay Railway Station on the mainland.
