Traditional pub cum hotel on the lower of the two main thoroughfares through Knutsford. The public and lounge bars are still spearate by a wood and frosted glass panel from Edwardian days, although the pub dates back to the 17th century. There is a pool room and a large TV showing football in the public. There are as many as five guest cask ales on at any one time.
