Attractive thatched Coaching Inn on the A4 west of Marlborough. Over 400 years old, it was the inspiration for a scene in Charles Dicken's Pickwick Papers. Offers a choice of Wadworth's beers plus a guest, with 6X and Henry's IPA served straight from the barrel. There's a varied menu offered, however booking is advised, particularly for Sunday Lunch.
