Not the original 'Anchor' of the early 1770's, but still on the original site. This is a superb, red terracotta, Grade II listed building, situated on the corner of Bradford Street & Rea Street. It has 3 rooms: a rear smoke room; a small back bar room with old black and white photos of Midland buses on the walls; and the main 'L' shaped public bar. The Main and back bar are separated by a large wooden and stained glass screen. Twice Birmingham Camra Pub Of The Year, the Anchor holds many themed weekends and regular Beer festivals. Up to seven Real Ales on over a 'normal' weekend.
