Former coaching inn that now finds itself forked between the busy Oving and Bognor roads. A single bar serves a lounge front area, and a public bar area round to the right and rear. There is a pool table and a skittle alley / function room to the rear. Real ale is a speciality, with two guests on offer at any one time. NB: The name refers to Chestnut Horses, which presumably pulled the mail coach past here at one time. The spelling {mistake} is deliberate. It has been there as long as anyone can remember, and so there seems no point in changing it now.
