Characterful timber-framed building dating from 1472, with 16th Century Royalist Acorn ceiling, a rare example of an aisled manor house. Joseph Priestley, discoverer of oxygen, once lived here. Upstairs gallery was once part of an earlier pub. Quiz nights Tuesday and Thursday.
