Very friendly multi roomed pub with comfortable front lounge bar with TV and piped music, leading into a raised eating area up a short flight of steps. Straight through the pub is the large games & entertainment room which has an 8ft screen on which to view Sky Sports events. Outside is a beer garden and large car park. Due to have its own website in a October 2001. Serves up well kept Real Ales and was included in the 1997, 1998 and 2001 Camra Good Beer Guide. Held their first Beer Festival under the present licensees in September 2001 and was unique in that the customers had to guess what beer you were drinking to win a small prize. The name 'Rhyd y Blew' means 'FORD OF THE HAIRS'!?
