A very friendly three-roomed pub. Mid Glamorgan CAMRA Branch's 'Pub Of The Year'2003 and winner of the Mid & South Wales Camra 'Regional Pub of the Year'. Large car park, beer garden and play area at rear. Pub is about 2.5 miles from Pontyclun / Llantrisant station around the road way, but ask a local about the shortcut through the trading estate alongside the railway track and over the 'Bailey' bridge, or you'll never find the small footpath which cuts your walk down to 800 yds. The pub is reputedly haunted by a Mr. George Owen - the landlord in the 1920's.
