A small and very friendly one-roomed pub but with a definite 'Bar' & 'Lounge' section which is distinguished by a small part of the original central dividing wall being left after the refurbishment a few years ago. Hop bines and miscellaneous farming equipment adorn the ceilings, and pictures of the locals and bygone views of around the Llantrisant & Cross Inn area on the walls. Has flagstone floors and wooden panelling (bar) / bare stone walls & panelling (lounge). Runs several trips abroad for those 'short breaks' and does quite a bit for charity. Holds a quiz night every Tuesday. There's an upright piano present in the 'Bar' section and is put to use when the urge for a 'sing-song' hits the locals ! Has a small patio area overlooking the large rear car park.
