A converted 16th century Welsh long barn with several rooms to enjoy some 1st class Real Ales (approx 6 on at any time) and food. Mid Glamorgan Camra 'Pub of the Year' 2002. Can be difficult to find as it is down a narrow lane just off the Cardiff Road ... don't blink or you'll miss the entrance which is opposite the Corner Park Garage (A4119). Holds twice yearly beer festivals. Decorated throughout with old farming / brewing / miscellaneous artifacts. The main bar is thatched ! There are rumours that the opening times have changed to 'all day' - please check before visiting.
