Tucked away at the top of Blackboy Hill, this is a back-street two bar local. There are two joined drinking areas; left is the public bar, and to the right the lounge. Popular with locals and students. Roger and Carol have previously made great successes of the Coach and Horses round the corner, and also the Swan in Winterbourne. Beer range reduced in 2008 from up to 13 to 5, most usually from local brewers.
